COOKIES SALES FUNDRAISER — extra being sold following service in Newberg
Our Alaska Team is selling cookies (made with Dinner’s by Shelby’s recipe) that our students will be preparing! Frozen cookie dough balls ready to go in the oven. They’re selling chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin and monster cookie (peanut butter cookie with m&m’s and Reese’s Cups).

Spaghetti Lunch & Silent Auction - April 3rd, Following service in Newberg
Another way that you can help support our students going to Alaska this summer is by attending our Spaghetti Feed after the 10:30am Service in the Newberg Campus. There will also be a silent auction during the lunch for students to sell artwork they make, and different services, like raking leaves, mowing lawns, babysitting, or dog walking.

Alaska Youth Missions Trip
Life Youth has the opportunity to go serve and minister to the people of Alaska through a missions organization called Alaska Outreach. Which is a ministry based through True North Church in Fairbanks, AK.
During their time in Alaska they will be working on various building projects, doing a vacation bible school (VBS), and just helping with the local church by partnering with whatever needs they have. They will be in different villages and moving along the road system in and around Fairbanks!
Dates: July 26- August 4th, 2022

We have 9 students and 2 leaders from Family Life Church going to Alaska and will be joining four other churches here in Oregon! This will be the first time all of these students have been on a mission trip before and we are just so excited for their willingness to say yes to give up some of their summer to SERVE those who live in a different part of the world than them.
HOW TO PARTNER
The cost per person is going to be about $1100 by May 2022, and we will be looking to fundraise the total for every student and leader joining. We would LOVE if you felt led to give toward our team, you can find any one of them directly, or Pastor Emily and we would be so glad to direct you to any of them to help!
We also will need people to join us in PRAYER. The moment someone says yes to what God is calling them to do, life tends to happen and the enemy likes to discourage us. Would you join us in a prayer of covering over our team against Spiritual Warfare, Bad Attitudes, Safety and Health!
WAYS TO GIVE
Find a student and help toward any fundraising they’re doing. Whether that’s bottles & Cans, selling goods, treats, etc. Or just hand them cash or check and they would love and appreciate anything you feel led to give!

In Person on Sunday Mornings with a Giving envelope (found at the Connect Desk or on the backs of chairs in the Auditorium). Feel free to write for “Youth Alaska Trip” with a specific person’s name!
